“My name is Li Jiatong.”榆林高新小学的操场上传来阵阵英语朗诵声。咦,这是怎么回事呢?原来是学校在举行英语演讲比赛呢!20 年9月12日,对我来说,非常难忘。不仅因为我参加了这次英语演讲比赛,更重要的是我战胜了自己。

比赛之前,老师问大家谁愿意参加比赛,同学们都积极举手,踊跃参加。我也好想参加比赛,可是怕自己演讲得不好,没有勇气举手。这时,老师好像看出了我的心思,问我:“李佳桐,你想参加吗?”我低声说:“老师,我想参加,可是我怕演讲不好。”老师说:“没关系,重在参与嘛,越是胆怯,越要锻炼自己。”于是我报了名。

回到家里,我就开始天天对着镜子练习演讲,不放过一个细节。真是“台上一分钟,台下十年功”。经过我的不懈努力,我终于能大方自然熟练地演讲了。

星期四下午,比赛正式开始了,我穿着漂亮的白纱裙来到赛场。首先是高年级的大哥哥大姐姐们演讲,他们演讲的十分精彩,给了我很大的压力。马上就要轮到我了,我心里别提有多紧张了,手心直冒冷汗。这时,一双温暖的大手搭在我的肩上,原来是老师。老师亲切地对我说:“别紧张,老师相信你。”我一下子放松了许多。

该我上场了,我努力克服内心的胆怯,开始了演讲。不知不觉我完全进入了状态,大大方方地演讲着。演讲完了,台下响起了雷热烈的掌声,我偷偷地看了一眼评委老师,只见评委老师的脸上露出了赞

许的笑容,我就知道自己表现得不错。终于主持人宣布比赛结果了,我获得了二等奖,我心里乐开了花。

这件事已经过去半年了但我我仍然记忆犹新。每当我看到那张金灿灿的奖状我就暗暗对自己说:“李佳桐,你能行。”

"never say die, i've been down this road before. i'll never quit, i'll never lay down." it's the song named "win". it tells us never say die.

seeing this topic, what first strikes my mind is the group of blind football players who won the silver medal at the beijing paralympics games. what they did shows the spirit of the old saying “never say die”. instead of giving up because of their blindness, they have redoubled their efforts and they did wonders.

never give up, even though there are many difficult things waiting for you. if you try your best, maybe there will be many successes behind you the next time.

i once read a book called "the count of monte cristo". in the book, it says, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words, wait and hope. just try your best, wait for the success and hold on your hopes.

trying times will pass, as they always do. face the trouble heroically

and just have patience, your dreams will come true and you will surely win.

A man was going to the house of some rich person. As he went along the road, he saw a box of good apples at the side of the road. He said, "I do not want to eat those apples; for the rich man will give me much food; he will give me very nice food to eat."

Then he took the apples and threw them away into the dust. He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big; so he could not go over it. He waited for some time; then he said, "I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river." He began to go home. He had eaten no food that day. He began to want food.

He came to the apples, and he was glad to take them out of the dust and eat them. Do not throw good things away; you may be glad to have them at some other time.

Every one has his own I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other e they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong ing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an ,of course ,I'm an athlete,I'm so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put training was really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves"ng those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same be an athlete is my most correct ,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.

There have been many men in history. But many of them were very poor in childhood, and no uncles, aunts or friends to help them. Schools were few. They could not depend duanwenw upon them for an education. They saw how it was and set to work with all their strength to know something. They worked their own way till they became well-known.

One of the most famous teachers in England used to tell his pupils, ”I can not make worthy men of you, but I can duanwenw help make men of yourself.”

Some young men don't try their best to make themselves valuable to human beings. They can never gain achievement unless they see their weak points and change their course. They are nothing now, and will be nothing as long as they live, unless they accept the advice of their parents and teachers, and depend on their own efforts.

记忆力的好也可以帮助学习,但是死记硬背的方式实在是套古老了,也太死板了,再好的兴趣也会被消磨光。所以,可以用一种节省时间,增加兴趣,享受时间的方法。在老师留作业,抄单词或句子的时候,先抄一遍,再根据脑袋里"肯定"的答案在接着继续默写,这样就达到了节省时间着点了。还有在背课文的时候,有些同学们后觉得这些太多了,太难了,简直就是在谋财害命,但老师就是硬要我们被下来,太痛苦了!那么,在这个时候,你可以把被课文当做是在背诗,记歌词,背诗背着背着就顺了,记歌词记着记着就好像是自己在听喜爱的音乐一般,这也有了增加兴趣,享受时间和节省时间了。

The ideal teacher should see his students as individuals and acknowledge their differences.

He must know how to encourage the self-development and growth of each of his students. The ideal teacher is one who grows, learns, and improves himself along with his students. So what about the teachers around you?
