一直以来，觉得自己的科普知识已经比较丰富，尤其是关于动物这一块，更是从幼儿园大班就开始积累了。因此我家书橱里的那一大本法布尔《昆虫记》，放了很久，却从没兴趣去翻阅。直到这个寒假，我太无聊了去找书看。忽然看到这本书的封面上写着“获诺贝尔文学奖提名”这几个字，眼前一亮，这书是否与其他科普类书籍有所不同呢？就拿起这本书读了起来。呀！太有意思了！昆虫竟然有这么多的奥秘！而且作者介绍起来笔调轻松自然，诙谐幽默，还加上很多有趣的情节……真是惊喜连连！

“我扑在书上，就像饥饿的人扑在面包上。”高尔基这句名言也非常形象地写出了我读这本书的状态。读了一遍后，我就爱不释手，如饥似渴地再读了。昆虫世界确实奇妙无比！比如小狼蛛从出生之日起到脱离监护的这整整七个月里，根本没有长大，仍然如刚出生时一样。这是为何？原来在这漫长的七个月里，它们没有吃任何东西，有时在运动中还消耗能量！可居然还活得好好的！靠的是什么？靠的是光和热。只要天气晴朗，雌狼蛛每天必然背着小狼蛛趴在洞口边，一连晒上数小时的太阳，获得了充足的热量，储存了动力，充满了活力……不仅如此，这本书还让我看到了小小的昆虫跟我们人类在文明与野蛮、生与死、劳动与掠夺等许多问题上都有着惊人的相似。如隧蜂忙着采花粉在洞穴里进进出出，经过狭窄的通道时，秩序竟然极好，能让离洞口最近的先钻入，以免碰掉爪子上的花粉；能按先后次序排好，不拥不挤；有时还会互相礼让，使进出非常顺畅。又如圣甲虫在运送沉重的粪球时，总有热心的同伴假借帮忙，实则趁机打劫。身体虚弱的雌蟹珠对唾手可得的蜜蜂无动于衷，只为等待自己孩子的出生……读着读着，我如痴如醉，仿佛自己也置身其间，与法布尔一起领略昆虫世界乃至整个大自然的无穷奥秘。
